If you’re an SNSD fan and you haven’t watched this, I’d suggest you go about rectifying that right now. This goes beyond funny – it is the actual embodiment of hilarity. I mean, when I first heard that Soshi were going to be on Intimate Note, I couldn’t figure why because I thought that they got along fine and I couldn’t imagine that they’d really have that much to talk about.
Well, I was wrong.
This is just about the craziest episode of Intimate Note that I’ve seen to date (Okay, I’ve only really watched two but whatever) – everyone goes off on everyone else and no one is safe (well, except for Tiffany because she wasn’t there). But seriously, they just went to town each other, airing all their greivances and the majority of them are silly and petty and ridicuously amusing while a few hit closer to home (feel free to ‘aww’ at the appropriate moments). TaeYeon, SooYoung, Jessica and SeoHyun really stand out here but HYOYEON is comedy gold – I knew she was funny! She cracked me up non-stop! I think in trms of variety shows, she’s really beginning to come into her own and I’m glad because hopefully, it will mean that she’ll get more notices that we will get to see more of her in the future. But anyway, they all have their moments to shine and generally this episode is just a big barrel of laughs and the MCs just make matters even worse, what with trying to generate a ’scandal’ surrounding SooYoung and their manager, Moon HeeJun acting like a love-sick schoolboy over Taeyeon and the like.
Now if my lovely mini-review hasn’t changed your mind, you can check out my full spazzing over the actual parts themselves here: Part 1, Part 2, Part 3 and Part 4. There are actually six parts but I didn’t feel like blogging about the last two. So go watch it, you guys – you won’t regret it!

NOW. No, I mean, right now – like right this very second. Just click on that little video that I’m posting down there and listen to the song. Your life will not be complete until you hear it. It’s ‘The Greatest Story All Over The World’.

Sooooo I love this song – I’ve only listened to it once but I love it already because it’s so moving. Is it not moving? Are you not being moved while listening to it? If you’re not, then listen to it again and again and again until you are successfully moved. But seriously, this is such a beautiful song – Yesung’s voice is so soft and soothing here and you really do get the sense of a story being told from the way that he’s singing – this is a duet by the way, between him and Lee Sejun – and this could possibly be my favourite thing that he’s ever done ever. And that’s only enhanced by the fact that this is a Christian song and that the proceeds from the sales go to charity and I mean, you have to be able to appreciate that at least, right? Honestly I didn’t even know that Yesung was a Christian until he released this but that’s very good, you know – I am one too and you should totally look into that (yeah, you, the person reading this) if you’re not. It’s not a bad way to be, imo. But I digress – so yes, check the song out – it’s beautiful and I am going to try to see if I can buy it from mnet.com or somewhere like that because it is for charity and all.
Anyway, I just wanted to share that – so enjoy!

So I went to SFI today just to check what’s new with SHINee and what do I happen to come across but this ADORABLE picture from their latest Clride shoot:-

It’s none other than Dubu-ssi and Kim SoEun (who is the new endorser of Clride with them – I’m SO late, I really only just found out about that) and don’t they make just the cutest pair? Seriously, I couldn’t not post this (Sorry about the double negative!) because I thought it was too adorable for words. I feel that I should take this opportnity to mention that I recently finished watching Kim SoEun’s new drama , ‘The Man Who Can’t Get Married’ and it was really good, very amusing and not too romantic for people who don’t like mushy things. The actors were decent and very believable , especially the male lead, Ji Jin Hee. Honestly I watched it on a whim because I knew that SoEun was in it (and she was good!) and it did not dissappoint. I’d recommend it to anyone, it’s a very good romantic comedy. So you got a short drama rec and a cute picture to boot, enjoy!

That’s how long I’ll be in love with KyuHyun’s voice – if it doesn’t turn out to be longer. Ah, maybe you got it, maybe you didn’t but that was just a silly joke referring to his just released solo song which is a remake of YooYoungsook’s ‘7 Years of Love’. Just in case you don’t know, YooYoungsook decided to release an album to mark his 20th anniversary in show business featuring reworked versions of some of his songs (he reworked them himself, I believe) and he chose Kyu to particpate in it and gave him this song to sing.
Anyway, long story short – the song’s finally been officially released (fancams of Kyuhyun singing it at YooYoungsook’s album showcase were floating around the web for about two weeks prior to this) and it’s just beautiful – I’ve been replaying it since I found it a little while ago and I see myself doing so for quite some time to come. It’s a bossa nova rendition of the song and as I’m no bossa nova buff (really, I know next to nothing about it), I was pleasantly surprised to see how well Kyu’s voice suit that style of music. He sounds so breathy and his voice is so light and soothing here – soothing is really the best way to put it. Listening to it, I feel like a spell’s being woven over my mind and as though I’m being lulled off to the very sweetest dreams of Kyu hopefully – it’s equal parts sad and romantic and even though it’s a pretty long song, about 5 and a half minutes, the song just seems to fly by. Every time it ends, I feel a little sad and empty but most of all, surprised that it’s already done. All in all, it’s a really lovely song and definitely something to check out whether you’re a Suju fan or not. I think KyuHyun should be very proud of himself.

You’ll check it out, right? You really should….trust me – you don’t want to miss out on this moving piece of music. Go, watch the videos, you know you want to.
That said, yesterday was my last day of work so I’ll have a good bit more free time on my hands for a little while and will hopefully be a little more active around here as a result – expect lots of posts about old things that you probably already watched a million years ago now. ^^ And let me say a short saengil chukhahae to one of my favourite leaders, Teuk-Teuk-Teukie! I have to do a proper birthday post for him in a little while so I’ll just wish him all the best and all of God’s blessings for now. I hope that he looks at this birthday and sees it for what it is – another year of life passed through safely and a chance for a new beginning in his life should that be what he so desires.
Well, that’s all for now. Ja ne!

Hola – sorry I’ve been MIA as of late but anyway, I just wanted to share this song I just heard. It’s by Ilac and ChaeRin from Brand New Day and it’s really bright and cheerful and perfect to get you in the mood for summer. It certainly cheered up my less than stellar day so here you go. Enjoy!
